Easy Asian Sesame Chicken
Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken breasts
- 1/3 cup wheat-free tamari
- 2 tbsp raw honey
- 1 / 4 cup organic tomato paste
- 3 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 2-4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp minced onion
- Lettuce cups – I like romaine or radicchio for color
- For garnish: chopped scallions & sesame seeds
Instructions

Place the chicken, full breasts, into a crock pot. In a bowl, mix the remaining ingredients and pour over the chicken. Cook on LOW 3-4 hours. Using 2 forks, shred the chicken right in the crock pot. Let heat through and serve in lettuce cups with chopped scallions and sesame seeds for garnish.
